Winemakers Notes
This is an up-front, easy drinking style of Sauvignon Blanc. It shows excellent ripe fruit, typical of the 2007 Marlborough vintage.
Bouquet: A pretty nose with an intense blend of tropical fruits, featuring passionfruit and kiwifruit. Hints of herbaciousness and sweet pea
Palate: A very attractive palate. Honey dew melons and an elegant overlay of gooseberry. An elegant style, with good weight and a well balanced finish.
Viticulture
The grapes for this wine were picked for a range of flavours, from several Marlborough vineyards.

Vinification
A focus on flavour attainment and conservation is a
characteristic of the Sanctuary style. The wine underwent a controlled stainless-steel fermentation, and was made in such a way as to maximise the typical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc flavours.
